Discovery

As I began to explore the twists and turns of the pathways, I was perplexed as to where this strange village had came from. Why did it appear so heavily guarded, and built like a fortress, yet have a measly two guards? What did the mundanes here fear so much? Where was the renowned protector of Loures now? Had Error abandoned us all or secretly deemed this place not a threat?

I began my investigation. I was determined to find some answers. My first idea was that I would make a map of the village, who lived here, and whether I could find any libraries. Even an old textbook, handwritten parchments, notes of sorts, which could give a clue as to how long this village had been in existence.

I walked the paved paths and made a quick map, I would start at the entrance again and discover what was what.

I traipsed through the gleaming streets towards the first building I could see. Inside was a polite blacksmith, but upon talking to him for a few minutes, he did not offer any information that I believed would help me learn about this place. He did sell some weapons though that I hadn’t seen in a long time.

Just next door to the blacksmiths shop was a sizeable bank. Curiously, it had barricades inside for what I would presume would be large queues of customers. Perhaps this little town had once teemed with citizens? The attendant had the most curious clothing. The most he was able to tell me was that he had inherited his job at the bank from his father, and that his father before him had also owned the bank. I bid him a good day before continuing onwards around the village.

To the right of the bank and the weaponsmiths store, there was a small courtyard with two sentries posted. They provided a wealth of quests for Aislings to do and spoke in many strange tongues. I believe this pair arrived shortly after Blackstar village finally had an entry. These two provided the same quests many other mundanes in different towns had to offer, and even the same rewards..
