The Locked Temple

I think that this temple, is possibly an old Temple of Danaan. If we could manage to unlock the doors, the discoveries would be fascinating. When I touched the handles my skin was burnt. Some magical trap held the handles tight, no matter how hard I tried nothing worked. The diary entries of the father state he was praying to Danaan. If my research holds correct, Hoige was built back when Danaan worshippers still existed.

 

We won’t know for sure until we manage to find a way into this Temple, but this is what I believe for now. It appears I am not the only Aisling to think so either, as Merisa’s recent historical works also muse that this Temple could in fact be a Shrine to Danaan. 

 

However, this is something we will not know for sure until more discoveries are made by us Aisling folk.

I took a brief trip into the Blackstar church as well, it was dusty and didn't appear much used.

​

The most curious thing however was two miniature, beautifully crafted, towns.

One appeared to be an old version of Loures Castle, and the other was this place, with a placard stating it was named Hoige. From the recent historical works we now know that Loures and Hoige were once linked, and this village was indeed a bustling hub of activity. Visiting royals, plenty of citizens, lots of sellers and travellers just pasting through.

These two statues furthered this belief as more and more evidence was uncovered.

***As Topic's work later uncovered, this was where dignitaries were hosted by the Empress Ealagad. That explains why it is such a fortress, similarly built like Loures Castle is.
