Duties

A respected citizen is able to admit citizens to their town, but that is their only duty.

Guards patrol their jurisdictions, must know the laws, how to make a banishment report, check for Aislings sleephunting, and any other crimes. They report to a Guard Captain. Guards will try to settle any complaints that they receive from concerned Aislings about crime(s).

Guard Captains are responsible for organising Guards, must hold mandatory Guard Meetings and the superior of Guards. Guard Captains will investigate crimes. They can also perform the duties of a Guard. Guard Captains can give Guards demerit if they have not follow correct procedure. Guard Captains can also place Guards on probation, and order exiles aswell as banishments.

Judge is the superior and head of the Judicial Officials. They uphold the law, can hold trials, hand out exile warrants as well as banishment warrants. Judges can order officials be removed from office if deemed necessary. A Judge keeps order, updates official political boards and oversees any Guard Captains in their roles. They can also perform the roles of both offices. A Judge can interpret the law of their town.

A Demagogue is responsible for monitoring all the boards in their town, and can execute exile warrants. This is the legislative side of Politics. Demagogues can review legislature to ensure that the law is fair and just.

A Burgess oversees Demagogues, and oversees and monitors all officials (in Rucesion, but I have never been a Mileth politician so I would not assume that is so in Mileth as their laws are slightly different and this description if not specific to either town). A Burgess can propose new laws and put these to the vote for legislative officials to discuss, draft and put into law. The Burgess will also post the new laws once passed.

Uniforms

Officials will receive a public title which shows on the world list to announce their office, they gain this after taking office and crossing the threshold to Mileth.

Below are some pictures of some uniforms. Rucesion is typically blue, and Mileth is typically green.
