The Black Market

In Rucesion, there is a secret black market trade. The owner will only allow a rogue through his door. This black market sells many goods, but also has a supply of raw gems there. This is the best place to buy gems from in order to polish if you have a large order of uncut gems to fulfill for a priest who may be buying from you.

The reason for this is that the gems looted from Pravat Cave, littered on the grounds where Aislings have swept through with their hunting parties, or from the remains of some beasts, once your keen eye appraises them may be a grade higher than what you need. 

If you are fulfilling an order for finished gems however, this is the best thing to do. It will save you much time polishing through all states if you pick up a gem which may already be flawed.

Many rogues can be seen outside next to the small pond of water practising their craft, either alone or in a group of friends chattering away. Rogues will happily purchase fragments from Braz, polish them outside, then run swiftly to the Rucesion banker to deposit the gems in the desired state.
